Puglia Bike Tour Experience

Pick up is located at Brindisi airport and then a short transfer to our first hotel in the town of Minervino. After check in and preparation of the bikes, we will leave for an easy ride to Otranto, to understand why Puglia is the first Italian producer of olive oil. Stop for a wine tasting in a local winery where we will have lunch and then return via different itinerary to our hotel. In the evening we will have the opportunity to experience the famous hospitality of southern Italy, during our first local and traditional dinner.

The second day will take us to ride on one of the most scenic coastal roads in Italy. Departure from our hotel towards Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost village in Puglia, the road with little traffic passes through small towns and flows along to the Adriatic Sea. Today we will be going back and forth with an epic ride of about 100km, otherwise after arriving in Santa Maria di Leuca we will transfer to the hotel with the support van. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner in Otranto where our guides will suggest you their favorite local restaurants.

This morning, transfer by van to the Itria valley, arrival in the characteristic town of Locorotondo and lunch in a local restaurant. After the lunch, departure with bicycles for our final destination, the beautiful Ostuni, defined as the White City, and arrival, after a quiet ride, to our hotel. This evening we will have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant of our hotel which has been recognized with 1 Michelin star.

Check out and a long ride today that will take us to discover one of the most characteristic places of Puglia, the village of Alberobello with its incredible trullis, a World Heritage Site protected by UNESCO. Lunch in a local restaurant in Alberobello and in the second part of the day we will cycle or have the opportunity to use our van to reach the new hotel, that is near the town of Torre Canne. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Today we start the day riding along the Adriatic coast to the Roman ruins of the ancient city of Egnazia and then through small country roads we will arrive in a “masseria”, a typical local farm, where lunch will be served along with a cooking class, with the opportunity to taste different types of olive oil, all of their own production. After lunch, guests can choose to return directly to the hotel with the support van or end the day cycling through a sea of olive trees, before return to the hotel. Dinner will be served on the large outdoor veranda of the hotel.
