Check out and departure from the hotel in Sinalunga. The suitcases will be loaded on the support van and this third ride crosses the Val di Chiana, a beautiful valley where the famous Chianina cows are raised.The route is easy to cycle without too many difficulties, through an area dedicated to agriculture with quiet roads, crossing the village of Castiglion Fiorentino. Lunch in a local restaurant and dinner at the hotel’s Michelin-star restaurant.

Cortona Vistas: Crossing into Umbria & Lakeside Wine Tasting

Departure from our hotel in Cortona for a new ride across the village and the beautiful Tuscan countryside leading to Lake Trasimeno in Umbria, for a few kilometres, and then returns to Tuscany. Today we will do a local wine tasting accompanied by a light lunch of typical Tuscan products. After the tasting and lunch, return to the hotel in Cortona by bicycle or support van.

Last ride of the tour offers the possibility to pedal along the perimeter of Lake Trasimeno, passing through the villages of Tuoro, a famous place where in 217A.C. the famous battle of Lake Trasimeno took place between the Romans and the Carthaginians. Other villages on our way will be Passignano, San Feliciano and Sant'Arcangelo. Route without difficulty, practically flat, almost all on cycle paths and some stretches of gravel. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.
