Brief summary
The Peloponnese is a large area of Greece, full of history and splendid panoramas.With this short tour in Argolis, we will discover their wine area, beautiful coasts and various archaeological sites.
We will cycle in a sea of orange trees and olive groves, on semi-deserted roads and limited traffic. We will cross typical and small villages, where life runs smoothly, and dive in the city of Nafplio, the ancient capital of Greece.
Daily Summary
We group up in Athens and by van we make our way to Nafplio (about 2 hours drive). Upon arrival to the hotel for check in, a light lunch of typical and local appetisers will be served. Next, it's time for bike fitting and a first ride, to get familiar with your bicycle, crossing the first part inland and reach the town of Tolo. A typical coastal greek town and fairly quiet during winter months, is a favourite summer destination for the greeks, welcoming many tourists as well. We make our way back to Nafplio by a different route. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
